Wisco was on site working on the North East corner of Chippewa and Main.

Air Marking was on site and did Park street between Michigan and Main.

No other work took place on this project today.

1.       Traffic Closure Updates
A.           Bronson and South Street: South Street opened yesterday and Bronson Street will remain closed to the east of Main until November 15th.

B.           Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne: side streets will see minor delays only when work takes place on the corners. Washington will close in 2 weeks when woodruff is back in to do the structure at Washington and Main.

C.       Saint Joe: Saint Joe will remain 1 lane until November 15th and the side                           streets will see delays of 20min while concrete curb is being poured next week.
                                               
C.           Michigan and Main will open today from Sample to Ewing and Main Street will open tomorrow from Sample to Marion for two-way traffic.
Utility Relocation Issues:
AEP:  

Robert Henry:  Robert Henry and AEP will be redoing the schedule for Michigan Street from Washington to Western. They will work from the North to the South. Trying to work on Washington while it is closed with JMS. The intersection of Monroe and Main will need to be worked on that time is yet to be determined.

NIPSCO/InfraSource:   
            
Comcast: 

                AT&T:     The Main hole in the parking Stall between Colfax and Washington was determined to be an old Steam vault. The casting will be removed and the vault filled in with flowfill.

Water Dept:     The water department needs to adjust some valves at the intersection Jefferson Wayne and LaSalle on Saint Joe. A meeting on sight Monday will be held to review the traffic control. The water dept. would also like a no left turn be placed at the office at Colfax and Main St. Drive up window.

Transpo:   Wants to make sure the timings on the signals at South and Bronson on Michigan is being addressed.   
               
Metronet: No issues   
                 

Utilities Q/A

INDOT: Questions:    Did not attend

Stakeholder Questions: Larry would like the block moved from in front of the door to the building that sets on Madison east of Michigan.

Chase tower concerned over getting between cub and building to remove canopy and brick face.

311 wanted to confirm street name signs being placed back at Michigan and Broadway

Action Items
               
1           Upcoming work for the week: continue to work on the crossings and cycle track on Main Street. Start prepping for blocks and pavers between the curb and cycle track. Continue to work on the traffic and street lighting on Main Street. Pour curb on Saint Joe. Start milling and paving on the 24th on Michigan from LaSalle working north. Finish up the cross walks and side walk at Chippewa.

2           Cross Walks/completed on Main: Reith riley will try to complete the cross walk on Main Street and they Maintain cross walks on Saint Joe.

3           Signs/ status/speed limit Change order: Pemberton davis will remove signage and place new signs on the opened portions as quickly as possible.
       
4           Light pole footer claim /change order: The claim will be reviewed and responded to in writing at the first of next week. No penalties will be enforced due to the lighting not being completed as long as Pemberton Davis continues to work on it and it is completed as soon as possible.

5           Oct. 15 expectations and penalties: Stop bars, turn arrows, lane lines, Cross walks and traffic signals on Main St. with the exception of Bronson are all up and functioning. No penalties will be enforced on Main Street obligations have been met.

6           Strain Poles and cabinets due in: Division A is expecting the Cabinets in around November 1. Division B Pemberton Davis is expecting the Strain poles and cabinets in the second week of November. A meeting will take place one day next week to look at the constructability of the LaSalle and Michigan Corner and keep traffic signals working. I will forward on a signed copy of the change order to Reith Riley and Martell.

7           Next meeting every other week: The next Progress Meeting will be held in two weeks on a trial bases.


                                               
Reith Riley Construction Concerns/Questions:

Reith riley would like to get portions of the contract substantially complete before winter and give them back to the City.

City Concerns/Questions:

Need to look at the ped head at Main and Ewing pole appears in the way.                             
Make sure stripping on side streets is placed correctly (Jefferson is incorrect)
